Our Trip To Orlando

DAY   1                       

On the first day we had to wake up at 6:00, but still left at 12:00. After we started driving, it was 7 hours and 45 minutes. We watched videos, played games, and slept. We were going to Daddy’s friend’s house. While we were going, the time the map was showing was increasing and decreasing. We avoided stops but when time decreased we took a stop.

We finally reached their home at 10:28 and took only two stops. Daddy’s friend had two kids, the younger boy was 4, and his older sister is 7. The boy’s name was Saket, and his sister’s name was sahasara. My brother(Vihaan) and Saket made friends because they are both the same age, and I (Aryan) were playing with them. We ate some dinner there, I ate only a little because I was already full. Daddy and his friend had dinner outside and talked. While I was eating dinner Vihaan and Saket were fighting about what to watch on the tv, Saket suggested that he and Vihaan take turns on what to watch but vihaan didn’t like that idea, so finally they watched what Vihaan wanted to watch. After eating dinner I slept on a big air bed.

DAY 2                                                    

On the second day when we woke up at Daddy’s friend’s house, I ate bread for breakfast, then played. After we got ready to leave, I was so excited because we were going to magic kingdom in disney world! I was also going to meet my friend Navi!

It was a 20 minute drive and Daddy’s friend came with us because he knew good parking spots and worked at disney so he got a discount of 3 free tickets. But there were 4 of us so we needed another ticket. We had to wait in the line for 2 hours and 25 minutes for only 1 ticket, we had to wait that long because it was a long weekend for Martin Luther King Jr day.

After we got in the park, we were going to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse but the wait time was way too long. So we went to the disney castle because Navi said that she was there. When I met her we talked while our parents were talking, and Vihaan and Navi’s sister (Teju) were talking and playing.

Then we went on our first ride, Big Thunder Mountain, it was a long wait but a short ride, but I think that it was worth it. Then we wanted to go on Spla sh mountain but then we decided that we can go on it later.  We could have 3 fast passes, so we used used 1 fastpass for the ride, in a little world. But it still took long because there was a problem with the ride and it took about 20 minutes to fix it. When we finally got on, it was little dolls representing the seven continents.

After that it was time to go to the awesome Disney Laser Show Fireworks! They put on songs for each disney show and there are characters dancing to the songs with fireworks, it was so cool!

After the fireworks got over, we went on a cool ride called astro orbiter, you went up on a medium sized tower then went in small spaceships and could control how high or low you wanted to go. Me and Navi really wanted to go to Space Mountain but we couldn’t find it. So instead we went to Splash Mountain, we thought it would be fun by the reaction the other people had. But it actually wasn’t that fun because the people were giving the reaction by what they thought is going to happen. We could only go on one more ride so we thought that we could go on the Barnstormer because earlier the wait was too long. But we passed by the 7 Dwarfs Mine train and wanted to go there earlier too so we decided that we  go there, that too wasn’t so good. But Disney got closed and it was time to go to a hotel. While going out of Disney we rode on a ferry.

We went to Comfort Suites and felt like it was a smoking room even though it was a no smoking hotel. So they said that we can get a connecting room with Navi after the people in that room leave. So we just slept in that room for the night.

DAY 3

On the third day we went to WonderWorks. WonderWorks is a upside down mansion on the outside, but a super cool futuristic science museum on the inside.

First, we went through a passage that made us feel like we were spinning, even though we weren’t. After that we played with the cool gadgets and science experiments. There were a lot of different cool things, you could even touch electricity! There were also really cool rides, me and Navi went on an astronaut training ride which spins in all directions. It may look like you’re going to get dizzy, but you actually don’t get dizzy at all. Then we went on a roller coaster ride, but it’s not a real roller coaster. It’s a small car like box that has a small tv inside. The tv showed a roller coaster from a rider’s view, and when it turned upside down or sideways and stood there, I was like falling off and out of my seat! Both rides were super fun of course!

Then we went in the basement, the basement was up of course, because it was a upside down house! In the basement there was lazer tag, a 4-D theater, arcade games, and a rope course! First we went and played the 6 minute lazer tag, Navi’s dad was the only one out of 8 of us to get in the top 3, he came in 2nd place! But overall it was fun. Then we went to the 4-D theater, there was a really cool show, but I don’t want to tell you the name because I want you to figure it out. Then we went to the rope course, Mamma waited in the rope course line while me and Navi played the arcade games. After we got on the rope course, We had 14 minutes, I went on all the hard ones and it was really fun!

After that we ordered pizza, went back to the hotel, and ate in our connecting rooms. I ate in Navi’s room.

Our Trip To Orlando

DAY 4

On the fourth day, we were going to the most popular beach in the world! It is Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach is so popular because you can drive and even race quad bikes if there are no or very few people. We were the only people there because it was pretty cold. We opened new awesome beach toys to dig and play there. Me and Navi were making a hole to put water in and a boat in it. We made a pretty good pool for that. We stayed there for a couple of hours then we had to go. We went in the car and drove to Starbucks then me and Navi drank hot chocolate and the adults ate and drank something else. Then it was sadly time to go back to Georgia, we gave each other warm goodbyes and started driving back to Georgia.
